The Academic Strategic Planning Department (ASPD) is a Centre of Responsibility or Pusat Tanggungjawab (PTj) under the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International), Universiti Malaya. ASPD emerges from the integration of Academic Strategic Planning Centre (ASPC) and Academic Development and Enhancement Centre (ADEC), marking a new era of academic excellence at UM. The ASPD is structured into 5 divisions:
