The Academic Program Management System (iPAcS) is designed to oversee and enhance the quality of curricula across all academic programs at Universiti Malaya (UM). The goals of iPAcS include monitoring constructive alignment (Outcome-Based Education) in teaching and learning activities, ensuring compliance and quality assurance for academic programs during accreditation, facilitating efficient digital record-keeping with guaranteed data integrity, and enabling online monitoring and assessment of learning outcomes along with reporting for academic programs. Additionally, iPAcS supports student achievement reporting and learning analytics, while providing a centralized data management system for recording amendments, approvals, and assisting with curriculum mapping.
